Commercial Electric Charbroilers

Electric charbroilers are more accessible and efficient ways of serving grilled steaks, burgers, or fish with a juicy texture and mouth-watering grill marks. You only need an electrical outlet to plug in your device. They have cast-iron grates placed over electricity-powered burners.

Gas hookups may not be available or feasible in your establishment. With commercial electric charbroilers, you can continue having char-grilled smokey kebabs on your menu. They usually come in three models. Electric countertop charbroilers are compact units that save floor space. They are perfect for fast-food stalls, cafeterias, or quick-serve restaurants. If you want your countertop charbroiler to drop directly into your counter, you can prefer a built-in electric charbroiler. Finally, the floor models usually have a larger broiling area but occupy more space.

When purchasing commercial electric charbroilers, it is important to check the side-to-side width of the broiling area and the number of burners. A larger size means more burners for even heat distribution. Manufacturers often build separate grate panels with individual burner controls for every 12-inch increment. For example, a 36-inch EmberGlo electric charbroiler has three 12-inch grates and one burner for each. Therefore, you can turn on one burner and cook on one grate during low-production periods. You can also check our other charbroilers with gas and wood-burning for an alternative.
