More and more often, clients require event catering companies to cook for guests directly at
the event location. This means all those involved, including the cooking appliances, need to
be as flexible and mobile as possible. To be able to offer these companies an optimum
solution, RATIONAL has developed special "mobile catering accessories". These
accessories can be used to move all SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency®
and
CombiMaster® Plus table-top units type 61-102 safely both to and at the event location.
A special catering kit has been developed for all
SelfCookingCenter®
and CombiMaster®
units
built since May 2004. These accessories
(supporting frame + stainless steel feet) are fixed
under the unit in place of the normal unit feet.
The sturdy bar along the side is both for
protection and for simple movement. In addition,
the bars can also be used to carry the unit e.g.
up stairs.
The stand is equipped with extremely sturdy
stainless steel wheels (2 x casters, 2 x fixed
wheels). The large wheel diameter (200
mm) allows the unit to be moved on the
stand even over uneven ground (e.g. roads).
In addition, the stand has been reinforced at
the side ensuring it is protected particularly
well against damage. Special mounts secure
the unit on the stand during transport. In
addition, the rack rails in the stand have
been designed in such a way that the GN
accessories cannot slide out during
transport.
