Underbar sinks are designed to fit under a bar or countertop for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing glassware. The compact and low-height construction allows bar operators to install them anywhere with an available undercounter plumbing fixture. Bar business requires speed, and you would not like to create unhappy crowds waiting to quench their thirst. Underbar sinks enable bartenders to clean beverageware without leaving the bar area and causing delays in serving even during peak times.

Underbar sinks share many features with the standard commercial sinks. For example, they are available in various bowl depths and come with pre-punched holes for faucet mounting. Although they have backsplashes to prevent spills, it is advisable to arrange the bowl depth in accordance with spout length and style. Using a gooseneck faucet, you may need a deeper sink to confine water splashes inside the bowl. 

Underbar sinks can have up to 4 compartments for improved flexibility in sanitation. An underbar 3-compartment sink gives you enough space for each step of the wash-rinse-sanitize process. You can choose from three different underbar sink types:

1. Modular Underbar Sinks: A modular unit has pre-drilled mounting holes to attach to other units.
2. Wall-mounted Underbar Sinks: These sinks are fixed to the wall under your bar counter with wall-mounting brackets.
3. Freestanding Underbar Sinks: These bar sink models are the most widespread and practical ones standing on legs with adjustable bullet feet. If you buy an underbar sink with drainboards on either side of the unit, you can let your washed glasses air-dry safely.
