Winston Industries became well known when its founder Shelton started to cooperate with Colonel, who was the founder of KFC. Shelton invented Collectramatic® and Controlled Vapor Technology ( CVap® ) for KFC and gave a new direction to fast food history. The company is also the only manufacturer of very low-pressure (VLP) fryers.

What is CVap®?

It’s a technology in that heated water vapor controls the food temperature exactly at the desired temperature. And it becomes an invincible combo with using of air heat to control the texture. In short, since the air cause drying, the system uses water vapor instead of air to heat the food. The system holds the taste for a long time till serving. CVap® technology is used in Cook&Hold Ovens, Retherm Ovens, Holding Cabinets, and Hold&Serve Drawers.

What is Collectramatic®?

For over 50 years, the Collectramatic® has been a time-tested system. It prevents scorching. The Collectramatic® fryers have a gravity filtration collector that helps extend the shortening life and requires less filtring time. The fryer has another special detail which is a round fry pot design that enables spreading the pressure evenly, which increases the safety while providing even cooking.
