Legion Industries has provided cooking equipment, buffet supplies, and cookware for restaurants, institutions, hotels, and railroads in America since the company was founded in 1988. Legion’s steam-jacketed kettles, multi-functional skittle cookers, and combi pans promise to last generations with top-quality deep-drawn stainless steel construction, and they are finished with silver, copper, and brass for extra strength and aesthetics. Legion also manufactures handcrafted chafers and buffetware in its headquarters in Waynesboro, GA. The company is the first and only manufacturer offering insulation as a standard on its skittle cookers, tilting skillets & braising pans, and self-contained kettles.
Legion incorporates many cooking methods into a single appliance. These versatile skittle cookers work as griddles, steamers, fryers, braising pans, kettles, holding cabinets, and combi ovens. The commercial-grade stainless steel construction and heavy-duty insulation provide maximum heat retention. The cooking temperatures range from 170 to 400°F (76.67 – 204.44°C). Depending on the cooking mode, the machine quickly heats up to the desired temperature in 5 to 8 minutes. Models are available in electric, gas, and steam-powered options and in multiple sizes.
Insulation is a standard feature on all Lagon self-contained kettles and select direct steam kettles. Insulation helps protect employees, cook faster, and improve energy efficiency. These stationary or tilting kettles come with gas and electric-fired models in leg, frame, tabletop, wall-bracket, and pedestal mounting options. While countertop units hold 2.5 to 10 gallons (9.46-37.85 liters), floor kettles accommodate up to 150 gallons (567.81 liters.)
Legion delivers two types of tilt skillets & braising pans. The 90° manually-tilted Classic Series skillets are available in 9 electric and 6 gas models with up to a 49-gallon (185.47 liters) capacity. The Combi-Pan Series skillets are the brand’s new players, combining multiple cooking functions, from steaming to frying. These patented units are sold in 3 heat sources, gas, electricity, and steam, and 10 models with various capacity options in each cooking function.
Legion’s legend of stylish buffet supplies started when the company first served steamship passengers lines with chafers and buffetware. Today, the tradition continues in many great hotels, resorts, sports complexes, theme parks, and other buffet-serving venues. The electric, induction, or canned-heat chafers are available in round, oblong, and oval designs with lift-up or roll-top lids.
Legion’s stainless steel InductoWare® and copper CopperWare™ cookware sets include pans, pots, servers, and everything else necessary for a perfect meal experience. They come with satin and mirror finish options.
Legion completes its kettles with accessories like cooking baskets, ladles, whips, and paddles for maximum functionality. Legion also manufactures food pans, serving trays, platters, and water pans needed for a full buffet setup.
