Conditions of the Equipments

 

All equipment comes with the full manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary depending on the brand and equipment purchased. Your Chef’s Deal sales representative can provide all warranty information. All issues on new equipment should be resolved directly with the manufacturer under the terms of the warranty. Chef’s Deal will gladly assist our clients with this process to make it as easy as possible!

 

Accepted Payment Methods

 

Chef’s Deal requires payment to be made in full before any equipment leaves our warehouse or is shipped by the manufacturer. Chef’s Deal accepts cash, all major credit cards, money orders, cashier’s checks, PayPal, business and personal checks, Google Checkout, or wire transfers. Some forms of payment may slow down the shipping process until the funds clear. All funds must be received from U.S. banks.

Chef’s Deal will confirm PayPal addresses before shipping to protect our customers. Certain exceptions may apply. We also accept funds from Canadian banks and will ship to Canada. Please talk to your sales professional for further details.

 

Purchases

 

Purchases made through the Chef’s Deal website are subject to Chef’s Deal obtaining relevant information, including, but not limited to, credit card number, expiration date, CID number, billing address, shipping address, and phone number. All clients represent and warrant that they have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other forms of payment used to initiate any transaction.

Chef’s Deal and our affiliates attempt to provide accurate information on the website. We do not guarantee product descriptions or other content will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or error-free. Any references to descriptions or images of products do not imply Chef’s Deal or our affiliates endorse these products. We reserve the right, with or without notice, to change descriptions, images, and references to products on the website and limit any product availability. The price and availability of any products are subject to change without notice. Clients agree to pay all charges that may be incurred by you or on your behalf through the website at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred, including, without limitation, all shipping and handling charges. Clients are responsible for any taxes that may be applicable to their purchases. Your sole remedy for purchasing any product from Chefsdeal.com is to return it for a full or partial refund as outlined in the shipping contract governing such purchase.

 

Returns & Refunds

 

All sales are final. There are no cancellations, refunds, or returns. Under certain circumstances, Chef’s Deal may make an exception and allow a return, cancellation, or refund subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the total purchase price. Under certain circumstances, the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost of any returned items.

 

Shipping and Delivery Policy

 

All major freight carriers provide free insurance coverage for certain amounts against unforeseen situations. Equipment can also be insured for the declared value, but some carriers have limits for higher-value items. Please discuss this with your sales professional.

 

Equipment typically will be shipped out within five (5) business days from our warehouse after the funds clear. All clients will be provided with a tracking number for their carrier company. Once shipped, all information and claims are handled directly through the carrier company.

 

Chefsdeal.com accepts no responsibility for the merchandise once it leaves the warehouse. All damage claims will be handled by the client and the freight carrier. Chef’s Deal will assist clients with the paperwork during the claim process.

 

Manufacturers typically ship equipment within three (3) business days. Some items out of stock can take up to four (4) weeks to be shipped. Due to the current supply chain shortage, this can take longer. In this case, clients will be notified of the estimated shipping date. Chef’s Deal will follow up and notify you of the tracking information once the equipment has shipped.

 

Standard packaging of an item includes placing it on a pallet and securing it with straps, bubble wrap, and necessary labeling. Standard packaging will NOT include additional crating or boxes being constructed. These services are available at an additional cost. The delivery will be made to your curbside. The client (purchaser) will be responsible for moving the equipment to the desired location from the curbside. The drivers are NOT responsible for assisting in unloading your equipment.
The delivery will be made to your curbside, and the buyer will be responsible for moving the merchandise to the desired location from the curbside. The drivers are not responsible for assisting in unloading your merchandise.

Clients will be charged 9.25% sales tax for items shipping in TN.

 

Shipping Methods: We send the merchandise with ground shipping.

 

Shipping Time: We inform you of the shipping time by email, text, or phone as soon as we get the order confirmation.

 

Shipping Cost: You can see each product's shipping cost during the checkout process. Please be aware of the difference in the shipping cost for each product due to its freight.

 

In some cases, specific locations might be considered residential areas even though the shipment is made to a business. In this case, there will be a slight difference in the shipping cost. The buyer will be informed, and it will be reflected by the buyer.

 

If the shipping address is limited access, additional fees may apply.

 

Free Shipping: Free ground shipping is available on selected categories and products with "Free Shipping" labeled in 48 continental USA. Please call us for details. Free shipping doesn't include lift-gate assistance, inside delivery, shipping at special conditions like expedited shipping.

Equipment will be sent with ground shipping, and clients will be informed of the shipping time by e-mail, text, or phone as soon as Chef’s Deal gets the order confirmation. The cost of shipping each product can be seen during checkout on the website. Please be aware any difference in shipping cost for each product is due to its freight charge.   • Please include your business name.
  • No residential and PO Box address delivery.
  • Be sure your shipping address is correct.
  • Make sure your phone is accurate. We will use the best and the quickest way if we need to get in touch with you during the shipment process.

 

Call Before Delivery: If you request "call before delivery," the carrier primarily will call you 24 hours before delivery and set an appointment, but this service may apply an additional fee. Some carriers also offer more than "call before delivery," such as "arrival notification," "delivery appointment," etc. Please contact us for more details.

 

Changing Shipping Address: If a shipping address change is requested, the shipping fee changes and carriers charge an additional fee. We will contact you via text or e-mail and inform you about the extra cost.

 

Redelivery: Please be aware of the redelivery charge if the delivery is not successful.

 

Split Shipment: A large order that contains more than one item can be split due to changes in stock, different shipping locations, or customers' demands. Therefore, customers receive their orders in multiple packages on different days. Please contact us for details.

 

Quick Shipping: It is available on "Quick Shipping" labeled products. Please call us for details.


Lift-Gate Service: Mostly purchased items are heavy, so that you may need a lift-gate. If you don't have a loading dock, trailer access, you can contact our sales representative and take a quote. Please be aware that drivers don't have any responsibility during the unloading process of the equipment from the truck.

International Shipping: International shipping may incur additional charges to cross the border if the equipment is sent by ground shipping, and these fees will be billed to you from carriers. The brokerage fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will be added to your shipping cost. If you would like to use your broker, you will be responsible for arranging all the shipments and notify us. The customer will be responsible for faxing and/or emailing us a completed copy of the Bill of Lading and giving us the necessary time to get the shipment. If the items will ship by a freight carrier, the purchase will be delivered on the deck of an international forwarder location. The buyer will be responsible for arranging the freight forwarder.

 

Delivery

 

Chef's Deal has its own delivery trucks, and we do deliveries in the Middle TN area on a regular basis. In some cases, we have performed deliveries with our staff to other states such as GA, KY, AL, MS, FL, SC, NC, LA. If you have a large quantity order, this method might be a better option for you than shipping. Please feel free to discuss the details with your Sales Representatives.

 

Inspecting Delivery in Case of Any Damage/Missing/Lost

 

Please check all shipments outside before the driver leaves. Do not let the driver rush you. Be sure all boxes that contain equipment and parts are present. Check all equipment from top to bottom after you open the boxes. If your order is completely damaged, do not sign the papers and refuse the delivery. Please take pictures of the damaged item(s), take notes, and contact your sales professional as soon as possible to complete the return process.

During the assessment, if you find any damage such as dents, dings, creases, holes:

  • Take pictures
  • Note them on the delivery bill.
  • If your order has missing/lost parts, take note of the exact name of the part of the item.
  • Keep your copy of the delivery bill/receipt.
  • Keep the boxes and other packaging materials of damaged equipment.
  • Contact the carrier company for a damage inspection.
  • Contact us within one day.

All items are being checked before shipment in our or manufacturer's warehouse, but damage can occur during transit. So when you take note of the damage on the delivery bill and sign it, we can apply to the carrier for reimbursement. However, if you sign the receipt but don't take note of the damage, we cannot guarantee any compensation for the assessed damage.

Special Note for Refrigeration Units

 

Refrigerator units must be transported in Up Right position only because they contain compressors, freon, and oil. Tilting units may cause the oil to leak into the cooling system; as a result, the unit may not function at all. Any client asking for a refrigeration unit to be loaded in any position other than Up Right takes and assumes the risk of the unit not functioning when it is plugged in. Chef’s Deal will not be responsible for any damage due to customer mishandling or improper transportation via freight carriers. Please notify your sales professional if you have multiple items or a large order to pick up from our warehouse.

 

Please Note: Due to limited warehouse space, equipment not shipped/picked up within ten (10) days will be subject to additional storage fees. The fee is $50.00 per item per month and must be paid in full before any merchandise leaves our warehouse.

 

 

Special Note for Smallware Items

 

Items from Crestware, Libbey, and Winco manufacturers are considered smallware. Orders totaling less than $250 from these manufacturers will result in a one-time small order charge of $25 for each order below the limit. Certain smallware items cannot be split into cases. These will be processed if the full case is ordered and charged accordingly.

 

Installation

 

Chef’s Deal has its own full-time technicians who install various kinds of equipment, such as Walk-In Coolers/Freezers, Ice Machines, Fryers, Stoves, Furniture, and more. We service the middle Tennessee area. If you need installation on any purchased equipment, please talk to your sales professional to find out how we can help. Installation is not included in the equipment purchase price. Installations are performed at an additional cost.

Site Conduct

 

You may not post or transmit on or through the Site:

  • Advertising or commercial solicitations
  • Promotional materials relating to other Web site or online services which are competitive with us and/or the Site
  • Software or other materials that contain so-called viruses, or other harmful or disruptive component
  • Political campaign materials; chain letters; mass mailings; spam mail
  • Engage in any activity on the Site that restricts or inhibits any other user from using
  • Or enjoying the Site such as "hacking," "cracking," "spoofing," or defacing any portion of the Site

  • Frame or mirror any part of the Site without our prior written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make the Site available
  • Or violate any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of such networks.

You agree that we will not be liable for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of the website or any service, content, features, or project offered through the website. Your continued use of the website after such changes will indicate your acceptance of such changes.
