Commercial Oven & Grill Cleaners

Commercial Oven & Grill Cleaners Remove Tough Grease Buildups

Commercial oven and grill cleaners remove baked-on grease, carbon deposits, and stubborn food residue from ovens, grills, broilers, and flat tops. These commercial foodservice chemicals improve cooking performance, maintain hygiene, and ensure food safety in professional kitchens. Commercial ranges, ovens, grills, and griddles are among the most frequently used cooking equipment and therefore incur heavy use and staining during the cooking process. Thus, they require regular cleaning to prevent contamination, odors, and unexpected breakdowns.

Types of Commercial Oven and Grill Cleaners

Chef’s Deal offers 4 types of commercial-grade oven cleaners and chemicals designed to clean and protect your valuable cooking equipment.

• Heavy-Duty Caustic Oven Cleaners: Heavy-duty caustic oven cleaners feature high-alkaline (pH 12–14) formulas and are designed for deep cleaning industrial ovens, barbecue, and grill interiors. These carbon removers break down carbonized grease, making it easy to remove with wiping and rinsing. Heavy-duty caustic oven cleaners are suitable for stainless steel surfaces, but avoid using them on aluminum, magnesium, zinc, soft metals, and painted surfaces.
• Non-Caustic Cleaners: These commercial oven cleaners do not contain caustic or other corrosive ingredients and are safer for frequent daily use on aluminum and soft metals. They reduce the risk of surface corrosion and are suitable for use in convection, high-speed, and combi ovens.
• Oven Protectors: Formulated with food-safe ingredients, commercial oven protectors create a barrier on the surface that hinders sticking. Hence, they prevent the buildup of fats, oils, grease, and carbon, facilitating cleaning.
• Grill & Flat Top Degreasers: Grill and flat top degreasers and cleaners remove burnt-on grease without damaging metal surfaces. They can be applied to surfaces at 150°F–200°F (65.55°C-93.33°C), and a scraping tool or grill bricks are used to remove residue.
