Available Gas Valve Types for Commercial Kitchens

Gas valves are available in manual, solenoid, thermostatic, safety (combination), and pressure-regulating types.

• Manual gas shut-off valves: Providing a simple on-off operation with a handle, manual gas valves require manual operation and are primarily used for high gas flow.
• Thermostatic and safety valves: Designed with a thermostat and mostly flame-fail devices, thermostatic gas valves operate over a temperature range of 212°F to 644°F (100°C to 340°C) and automatically control temperature, shutting off gas to prevent overheating or leaks.
