Keg Racks

What is a Keg Rack?

A keg rack is a storage solution designed specifically for holding and organizing beer kegs or similar beverage containers in commercial settings like bars, breweries, and restaurants. You can also use them in walk-ins to organize the storage area of your cooler.

Keg racks are among the most essential storage racks for beer-serving businesses that keep a large volume of beer keg stocks at hand. However, weighing almost 160 pounds (72.56 kg) and having a 16” x 24” (40.64 x 60.96 cm) size, half-barrel kegs require a significant storage area. Hence, as a beer production or service business operator, you need to consider efficient ways of keg storing to maximize the storage area while minimizing the consumed space.

What is Keg Storage?

Keg storage refers to the methods and systems used for safely and efficiently storing beer kegs or similar containers of beverages. This involves organizing and stacking the kegs to maximize space, ensure ease of access, and maintain the quality of the beverages.

What are The Features of Keg Racks?

Beer keg racks are particularly engineered for use in breweries, restaurants, or bars, and therefore, they are designed with specific features to efficiently serve in these facilities:

• Keg racks are manufactured from high-quality aluminum and feature a robust tubular frame and reinforced wire shelves to withstand rigorous use and abuse in commercial settings.
• Available mostly as 2-tiered models, some units also have a top shelf for storing boxes or other necessities in addition to the two keg shelves.
• These storage racks offer various capacities ranging from smaller units holding two half-barrel kegs to larger units accommodating up to 20 kegs.
• Keg racks also offer adjustable shelves to increase the shelf height.
