Southbend KDPS-60 Stationary Direct Steam Kettle
Standard Construction Specifications
- Shall be a Southbend Steam model KDPS-20, KDPS-30, KDPS-40, KDPS-60, KDPS-80, or KDPS-100, direct steam connected, pedestal base kettle.
- A double wall kettle interior shall form a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle.
- The bottom of the kettle shall be of hemispherical design for superior heat circulation.
- Construction shall be all welded satin finish stainless steel, type 304.
- The liner shall be standard 316 for high acid content cooking.
- Convenience features shall include 2” (50mm) sanitary draw-off valve with perforated strainer and a spring assist hinged counterbalanced stainless steel domed cover. Includes faucet bracket.
