Southbend KDPS-80 Stationary Direct Steam Kettle

Standard Construction Specifications

Shall be a Southbend Steam model KDPS-20, KDPS-30, KDPS-40, KDPS-60, KDPS-80, or KDPS-100, direct steam connected, pedestal base kettle.
A double wall kettle interior shall form a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the kettle.
The bottom of the kettle shall be of hemispherical design for superior heat circulation.
Construction shall be all welded satin finish stainless steel, type 304.
The liner shall be standard 316 for high acid content cooking.
Convenience features shall include 2” (50mm) sanitary draw-off valve with perforated strainer and a spring assist hinged counterbalanced stainless steel domed cover. Includes faucet bracket.

Southbend KDPS-80 Stationary Direct Steam Kettle

Standard Construction Specifications
