Two-Tray Clear Ice Production

Vesta Precision's IMT300 Skyra holds two trays of food-grade silicone molds, so each batch makes twice the clear ice of the single-tray IMT200. With a full set of molds, one batch delivers 60 cubes, 50 small spheres, 32 large spheres, 48 ice bars or 60 diamonds. It suits bars, restaurants, hotels and other businesses that serve cold beverages and want clear ice in standard shapes made on site instead of cut from blocks.

From Water Fill to Storage

Directional freezing gives the IMT300 ice that is denser and melts more slowly than cloudy ice. A single button press starts the automated sequence: the cabinet fills with water, the batch freezes, the ice releases from the molds and the unit switches to ice storage at 30.2°F (-1°C). Expect 24-28 hours per cycle when ambient and water temperatures stay below 25°C, or 32-36 hours above 25°C. Defrosting and evaporation run automatically.

Site Requirements Before Installation

Plan a water line and a drain point before the unit arrives. Water enters through a 1/2" BSP inlet at 0.2-8 bar, and the IMT300 uses about 30 L per cycle. Route the drain hose below the water outlet. For clearer ice, Vesta Precision advises filtered tap water or mineral water rather than distilled water. Leave at least 3.9" (100 mm) around the cabinet for ventilation and keep the area beneath it open; universal wheels help with positioning.
