Southbend’s mid-tier fryers are available in 45-50 lb. and 70-90 lb. capacity models. A stainless steel pot is standard, and the tube-type pot allows more efficient heat distribution. Wide spacing between tubes permits easy access for cleaning. The optional fryer drain cabinet is a convenient place to drain fried foods. A handy lift-out screen and grease drawer simplify cleaning. The cabinet base comes standard with door and pan slides.
Welded stainless steel tank with an extra smooth peened finish ensures easy cleaning. Blower free atmospheric burner system with millivolt thermostat and thermo-safety pilot. Cabinet front, sides and door are constructed of stainless steel. The Solstice burner and baffle design increases cooking production, lowers flue temperature and improves working environment.
Front 1-1/4” (3.2 cm) NPT drain for quick draining. 3/4” NPT rear gas connection. Thermo-safety pilot and thermostat maintain temperature automatically at the selected temperature [200°F - 400°F (93°C -190°C)].

Gas control valve prevents gas flow to the main burner until pilot is established and shuts off all gas flow automatically if the pilot flame goes out. Temperature limit switch safely shuts off all gas flow if the fryer temperature exceeds the upper limit.
