U-Line Refrigeration manufactures high-quality commercial and residential refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, dispensers, and beverage centers. The company originated in 1962 when Henry Uihlein, Sr. established the U-Line Corporation and patented the first under-counter ice maker for residential use. Adopting innovation as one of its foundational principles, U-Line Corporation has continuously expanded its product line. In 1971, they introduced the first portable ice makers with built-in water tanks. In 1987, they developed a solid-state ice maker, followed by frost-free freezer technology in 1991. Having developed the first 12-volt DC ice maker for marine applications, U-Line Refrigeration also launched a diverse marine collection to provide specially designed products that feature corrosive-resistant steel hinges, fasteners, secure travel latches, UV-resistant cabinets, and doors.

U-Line Corporation is also an environmentally conscious company and contributes to global environmentally friendly efforts, boasting over 50 patents in the industry. It was among the first companies to join the efforts to prevent global warming and reduce the carbon footprint. It became the first North American appliance manufacturer to stop using chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) for foam insulation.

In 2014, the company was acquired by MiddlyBy Corporation, one of the largest companies in the foodservice industry, and reached a much wider network of suppliers and distributors. Now located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, U-Line still leads the industry with outstanding features such as the highest nugget ice machine production and full-depth lower interiors. The company serves residential and commercial needs and ADA-compliant products to allow installation under 34” (86.36 cm) countertops, outdoor ice makers, or beverage coolers.

U-Line Reach-in Refrigerators

U-Line retains a high-quality collection of commercial reach-in refrigerators and is available in 23 cu ft (651 L), 48 cu ft (1359 L), 49 cu ft (1387 L), and 74 cu ft (2095 L) models operating between 28°F and 46°F (-2°C and 7°C). Offered with solid and glass door units, U-Line reach-in refrigerators feature high-efficiency top-mounted compressors. They allow easier operation with electronic digital temperature controls and autodefrost functions. U-Line reach in commercial coolers uses R290, an environmentally friendly coolant.

U-Line Freezers

Engineered to provide a safe storage environment for frozen treats, U-Line commercial reach-in freezers have an operational range between -13°F and 14°F (-25°C and -10°C). Boasting a sturdy cabinet made of stainless steel, these U-Line freezers can be preferred with solid steel doors, or you can opt to have them with glass door units.  

U-Line Undercounter Refrigerators

The U-Line Refrigeration product range contains 2, 3, and 4-door undercounter refrigerators whose interior volume varies between 9.88 (288 Liters) cu ft and 21.2 cu ft (600 L). Offering a temperature range between 28°F and 46°F (-2°C and 7°C), U-Line commercial undercounter coolers have a 33” (83.82 cm) height to easily fit under 34” (86.36 cm) counters.   

U-Line Undercorcounter Freezers

U-Line undercounter freezers are engineered to keep your frozen meat and treat within easier reach while leaving the countertop surfaces to your other tasks. Featuring 33” (83.82 cm) and 57” (144.78 cm) to 96” (243.84 cm) widths, U-Line commercial undercounter freezers offer practical use with electronic controls.

U-Line Refrigerator and Freezer Bases

U-Line refrigerator and freezer chef bases are ideal for your food prep and cooking line as they provide a secure space to hold your temperature-sensitive products under your cooking equipment. Available in 2 or 4-drawer options, these chef bases' sizes vary between 36” (91.44 cm) to 72” (182.88 cm). Additionally, they use eco-friendly R449a refrigerant and come with high-efficiency compressors to minimize the carbon footprint.

U-Line Blast Chillers and Schock Freezers

U-Line blast chillers and shock freezers are offered in 33” (83.82 cm), 64” (162.56 cm), 77” (195.58 cm), and 31” (78.74 cm) heights to accommodate up to (15) 18” x 26” (45.72 x 66.04 cm) sheet pans. Furthermore, these commercial blast chillers and shock freezers offer capacities from 14 lbs (6.35 kg) to 143 lbs (64.86 kg) blast chilling yield, while shock freezing capacity is 26 lbs (11.79 kg) to 110 lbs (49.89 kg), depending on the model. Equipped with a 7” (17.78 cm) digital touch screen with a HACCP tracker and alarms, U-Line blast chillers and shock freezers offer soft and hard chill, soft-hard freeze, and thawing functions.

The company has an 88-7/8” (225.74 cm) H x 59-1/16” (149.86 cm) W commercial blast chiller and shock freezer with a remote condenser, offering a 440 lbs (199.58 kg) blast chilling yield and 385 lbs (174.63 kg) shock freezing capacity.

U-Line Pizza and Food Prep Tables

U-Line pizza and food prep tables are available in 65” (165.1 cm) options with 14 cubic feet (396.43 L) volume and 88” (223.52 cm) models with 21.89 cubic feet (619.85 L) capacity. They are designed to hold frozen and chilled treats under your working counter and are made of granite to handle the hardest tasks. Some options also have condiment rails to place your sauce and condiments.

U-Line Condiment Rails

U-Line condiment rails can hold 7 (65”- model (165.1cm)) or 10 GN 1/3 pans (88”- model (223.52 cm)) and can be installed on the U-Line pizza and food prep tables to ensure you can easily reach the dressings, sauces, condiments, and other food ingredients frequently used in your recipes. They feature a sturdy stainless steel cabinet and housing, while the top is covered with glass for higher visibility.

U-Line Beverage Centers

U-Line beverage centers are engineered to hold different types of soft drinks, beer, wine, and other drinks and beverages to ensure you can store them chilled within your reach. They feature a modern design with stainless, integrated, and integrated solid frame options so that they can blend in any decoration. U-Line beverage centers are offered in 15” (38.1 cm), 18” (45.72 cm), 24” (60.96 cm), and 36” (91.44 cm) to hold as many cans or bottles as you need.

The U-Line U-Chill is the perfect option for a compact, easy-to-access drink chilling solution. Designed to be installed inside a counter to easily accommodate wine, champagne, beer, bottled water, or soft beverages, U-Chill is a cylindrical cooling unit that will accompany your joy with a chilled solution.

U-Line Wine Coolers

U-Line wine coolers are available in 15” (38.1 cm), 18” (45.72 cm), 24” (60.96 cm) width, and  33-11/16” (83.82 cm) H to provide up to 5.2 (147.24 L) cubic feet of interior storage volume. U-Line commercial wine coolers have durable stainless steel cabinets, 5 metal slide-out shelves, and lockable full-wrap doors. Using eco-friendly R600a refrigerant, U-Line commercial reach-in refrigerators offer quick cooling and consistent temperature with a convection cooling system.

U-Line Ice Machines

As the pioneer of the undercounter ice machines, U-Line now retains the largest ice maker collections in the industry, and you can find a rich collection of indoor, outdoor, marine, and ADA-compliant ice machines.
